Year and a half ago I visited Mudna dol ridge for the first time, and on this day I finished fifty percent of my plan to visit Mudna dol in all four year seasons. For now I put check mark on winter and autumn. I will visit Mudna dol soon, but this time without bike (hiking through Mudna dol and then back on west or east ridge seems like very good option). Ivan suggested that we should visit Hahlići this weekend and I agreed without hesitation. I did some searching on google, and found some gpx, but there wasn’t any explanation with it, so we didn’t know what to expect of the route.

Grožnjan is small Istrian town located on the hill above Mirna river valley. During summer months Grožnjan streets and squares are transformed into shelter for painters, musicians, sculptors and many other artists. Few years ago I visited Grožnjan for the first time when me and my girlfriend were riding famous Parenzana trail (old railway path which is now transformed into macadam road for MTB). Even though Parenzana trail goes through many famous places in Istria I liked Grožnjan the most. It has the best vibe and amazing view which you can enjoy while relaxing in local coffee shops.

I looked in my folders on computer and found out that I rode year before at the same month on Samoborsko gorje. This route is similar with the year before, but with few modifications. The most important one is that now I rode with friends. The second modification is that i visited Samoborsko gorje with my new bike (which showed as big improvement considering the old bike) , and the third modification is that after reaching Japetić peak we went straight to Oštrc without visiting Pleševica and Okić.
We parked our cars at supermarket Konzum near stadium and from there followed the paved road (about 12 km) to Šoićeva kuća (Šoić house) and started ascent to peak Japetić.
