Grabarak and Zečak are two trails on the border of Samobor and Žumberak hills. I found about these trails after seeing youtube video of local guys who explore this region. The gave me their gpx track (thank you guys if you read this) so I decided to visit these trails with Đuro. Each of these trails are positioned on different hills, and have different unpaved access, but are very close to each other.

We parked our car near hunting hut beside small Žumberak river (great spot for keeping drinks cold). It is also great spot to park there because trails from Grabarak and Zečak finish near that place, so You don’t have to carry much things with you.

For the first descend we choose Grabarak trail. Acces is unpaved road that goes right at the crossroad (few hundred meters from our parking spot). For Zečak You follow unpaved road that goes left. Grabark is actually uninhabited village and from there starts our descend. At the beginning, trail is fast and flow, later becomes very narrow with switchbacks. Actually both trails are very similar to each other. Ground surface, very good for practicing endo turns in controlled conditions. The hardest section is at  the end of Grabarak trail. We liked trails very much, but they are little short, you can go again on Japetić (with the same unpaved road that leads to Grabark village, but continue further) and then descend with Šumski Dvor trail. We did this combination few weeks after. Because we wanted to ride little bit more we hiked last few hundered meters of Zečak and then descended again with bikes.
